Given the interdisciplinary nature of our research projects, it is rather difficult to put one single label on individual projects. In terms of applications, we are researching solar cells, electronic/chiroptic devices, sensors, tissue-mimicking electronics, protein/drug-delivery, among others. Materials we are actively developing include conjugated polymers and small molecules, biocompatible polymers, and inorganic/organic hybrid perovskites. Our strengths are in chemistry, particularly in the design and synthesis of organic molecules and polymers, and in exploring new polymerization methodologies.

Most of our research projects are highly interdisciplinary, where collaboration within our own research group and with other research groups is essential. Thus, you are NOT fighting alone!
